What We Do
Great policing isn’t just about being tough on crime – it’s about forming relationships, building bridges, and forging bonds between our men and women in blue and our community. Along with keeping our streets safe, the Elkhart Police Department reaches out to those we wish to protect and serve with events like Night Out Against Crime, our yearly Safe Trunk or Treat, and Coffee With A Cop. We are always looking for ways to improve our relationship with the good men and women of our city to move forward toward our vision of a crime-free Elkhart.
